Ever since I was a child, I’ve spend hours styling and dressing up my Barbie dolls. I even designed their clothing. This early passion has lead to a training at the fashion academy, magazine photo styling and the designing of some capsule clothing collections.

The hectic existense that comes with a family with 3 great kids, made that my urge to paint was rather low for a few years. But I couldn’t suppress my creative drive for too long. I need this artistic expession to achieve a personal fulfillment. A number of years at the art acadamy, several classes with Robert Liberace and a lot of self study gave me the confidence to develop myself as a professional artist.

My fashion background provides me with a natural feeling for the human body and the pureness and beauty of the human shape in all its forms. Capturing the right facial

expression in a portret gives me true satisfaction. My kids inspire me every day with their playful poses and fashion interpretation.

I have an infinite admiration for classic and figurative artists. They inspire me in such way that their influence is clearly noticable in my style.

My landscape paintings are a way for me to experiment with color, technique and

materials. An expression of the beauty and my personal stylistic rendering of nature.

I notice that - as an artist - I keep developing and my work evolves in sync with my

life path.
